I am Anne Glynn, a BACP accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I have worked with many clients who have sought help with a wide range of problems such as abuse, addiction, anxiety, bereavement, depression, intrusive thoughts, difficulties in relationships and sexuality.
I work as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist with individuals affected by problem gambling and I have supervised the work of other Counsellors at the service. I am also Staff Counsellor at Goldsmiths University and I am an online therapist with an organisation called Big White Wall which is allied to The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust. I have worked in private practice since 2007.
I have worked as an NHS Staff Support Therapist, I have provided counselling to NHS GP patients and have been a Palliative Care Counsellor at a hospice working with people with life limiting illnesses. I am currently an EAP Affiliate Therapist and an Associate Therapist in a service which offers counselling to clergy and their families.
Before qualifying as a counsellor/psychotherapist I worked for over 20 years as an English teacher and Head of Year in inner London secondary schools.
